Abstract The characteristics of peat soil with high organic and moisture content, also compressibility can cause structural failure due to excessive settlement. Improvement settlement parameters be conducted using calcite precipitation method soybean as bio-catalyst, namely Soybean Crude Urease-Calcite Precipitation (SCU-CP). SCU-CP is one the grouting methods improve consistency so that bearing capacity increases. purpose this study was analyze increase in parameter (R 90 ) time at 90% degree compression (t ). This a density Proctor standard compaction variation untreated treated samples. optimum combination solution used samples concentration reagents (Urea CaCl 2 1 mol/L 20 g/L. results proved method, it could significantly improved R t . values for (UT) each pressure 2.0 kg/cm , 4.0 8.0 obtained 39 mm, 86.7 162 mm respectively. improvement on (TE) 16.4 28.1 57.5 respectively after being method. In value lower than which indicates reach consolidation getting faster.
